Baking & Me

MEET THE BAKER

My name is Chasity Torres. I'm 29 and from the Manchester, NH area. I fell off a ladder last year and was in therapy until December. I had a lot of free time and while taking care of the home and my fiancé, I started baking. Tarts, key-lime pies, carrot cake, cheesecakes and cookies. So I guess I can say it was a good thing.

I had a great amount of support and encouragement from my fiancé and his co-workers who ended up being my first customers (and guinea pigs to taste test). I've learned a lot from trial and error to perfect or near perfect my recipes to bring fresh hand-made cookies to deliver to my customers.

I noticed a lack of night owl bakeries or restaurants that usually close up shop at 10PM. I realized that all the big cities like Boston or New York were marketing to a city that never sleeps. Manchester is definitely NH's little city that never sleeps. So here's the start to a long night of sweet, pun intended, dreams.

I got you. Pre-order for events, parties or functions with a dozen, two dozen or more. Or eat them all yourself! No one would judge you.

What's in the Dough

Salt, Butter, Flour, Sugar & Love

I use clear cut ingredients and bake with basic principles. If I won't eat it, you won't eat it. Pink Himalayan Salt from the grinder. Salted butter by the stick. Flour by the bag. Light brown sugar and white sugar. And the itty bitty pieces of love....or chocolate.
